What to wear and/or bring:
Your wardrobe is one of the most important parts of making your
pictures unique. Bring clothes that both "pop" in front of the
camera, and those that are more subdued (for variety). Try to
avoid patterns that are too crazy, but bring whatever you
believe identifies you as you and I'll work with it. Light materials
that look good in sunlight are perfect for outdoor shots.
For senior portraits, bring fun accessories such as musical
instruments, sports equipment, letterman jackets, or anything else
you think best reflects your time in high school or college.
Similarly for children, one of the best things to bring is a prop. This
can be stuffed animals, a doll, rain boots, hats, tutus, scarves, a
chair...all make the difference in capturing their character and
how you want to remember them (when they're teenagers).
For family portraits, all the above suggestions apply, however it's
ideal if everyone follows the same color choice so you look like
you actually belong to each other, like each other, and aren't
feuding kin-folk.
